Super Visa
A multiple-entry visa that allows parents and grandparents of Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents to visit them is called a super visa. This super visa can let them stay in Canada for about two years without leaving the country in between periods like any other visa.
Requirements For Parents
The IRCC might require police clearance certificates in order to prove that you are admissible in Canada and don’t have any criminal record.
You have to give an immigration medical exam in order to be eligible to enter Canada.
An invitation letter is required from your sponsor which would include their oath of financial support, their P.R. or citizenship credentials, and a list of individuals in their household.
Medical insurance from a Canadian insurance firm is required with at least $100,000 coverage and a minimum of one year of validity from your entry date.
Medical insurance should cover health care, and hospitalization, and be valid for different entries to Canada within that time period.
Sponsor Your Parents And Grand Parents
To be capable to sponsor your parents or grandparents for a super visa, you should meet minimum income requirements to show that you would be capable of financially supporting them when they come here.
The income could be proved through a copy of your notice of assessment NOA, a recent copy of your T1 or T4, a job offer letter stating your designation, wage, and job description, evidence of other income sources, and recent pay stubs.
You have to provide an invitation letter to your parents and grandparents that would include your oath of financial support, your P.R. or citizenship credentials, and a list of individuals in their household.
Sign a promise of financial support and minimum income requirements.
Complete details of both the host and parents or grandparents are required. This would include the full name, relationship with each other, expected stay duration, family details, etc.
Eligibility Requirement
To be eligible for a super visa, you should be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada.
Have a signed letter from your child or grandchild who invites you to Canada that includes an oath for financial support, a list and number of individuals in the household, and a copy of an individual’s Canadian citizenship or permanent resident document.
Have medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company that is valid for about one year, $100,00 emergency coverage, and have evidence that the medical insurance has been fully paid.
Financial Support
The child or grandchild that invites you should prove that their household meets the minimum necessary income.
The following credentials are instances of what could be used as evidence of funds:
NOA or T1/T4 for the most recent tax year, statements of the employment insurance benefit, employment letter including salary, job title & description, and hiring date, pay stubs, and bank statements.
